How Beepiip collects, uses, and protects your personal information — and the choices you have. Last updated 17 July 2026.

1. Who we are & data controller

Beepiip (Beepiip Technologies) is the data controller responsible for your personal data under this Privacy Policy. We operate a delivery marketplace connecting customers, merchants, and couriers in France and Morocco.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

Account informationLogin credentials, account status, and the preferences you set when you sign up.
Contact detailsYour name, email address, and phone number.
Delivery & billing addressesAddresses you save to receive orders and to issue invoices.
Location dataPrecise and approximate location, used to place orders, track deliveries, and match nearby couriers.
Order & transaction historyDetails of the orders you place, including items, amounts, and timestamps.
Payment-related informationCard type, billing details, and transaction confirmations from our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
Device, diagnostic & usage dataDevice model, operating system, IP address, app version, crash logs, and how you interact with the app.
Push-notification tokensDevice identifiers used to deliver order updates and other notifications you have opted into.
Camera & photo accessAccess to your camera or photo library, only when you choose to add a photo — for example, to a support request.
Customer-support communicationsMessages, calls, and attachments you send us when you contact support.

3. Why we process your data & legal bases

We process personal data to perform our contract with you — creating and managing your account, processing orders, matching couriers and merchants, and handling payments and deliveries.

We also rely on our legitimate interests to prevent fraud, keep the platform and its users safe, resolve disputes, and improve our products, provided these interests do not override your rights.

Where required, we rely on your consent — for example, to send marketing communications, use precise location for certain features, or place non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We rely on legal obligations to keep accounting and tax records and to respond to lawful requests from authorities. We do not sell your personal data.

We share personal data only as needed to run the services, with recipients bound by strict data-protection obligations:

Couriers & merchantsThe name, address, and order details needed to fulfil and deliver your order.
Payment providersPayment processors who handle transactions on our behalf.
Delivery & logistics providersPartners who support order routing, tracking, and fulfilment.
Analytics providersProviders who help us understand app usage and improve our services.
Mapping providersServices that power address search, routing, and live order tracking.
Hosting providersInfrastructure providers who store and process data on our behalf.
Push-notification providersServices that deliver order updates and other notifications to your device.
Customer-support providersTools and staff who help us respond to your requests.

5. International data transfers

Beepiip operates in France and Morocco, and may process personal data in the European Union. As a result, your data may be transferred to and processed in a country other than the one where you live.

Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate legal mechanisms — such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards — to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection.

6. Data retention & security

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the services, fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or comply with our legal, accounting, and tax obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

We protect personal data using encryption in transit and at rest, access controls that limit who can view your data, and ongoing monitoring to detect and respond to security incidents.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the following rights over your personal data:

Lodge a complaintYou also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL in France or the CNDP in Morocco.

8. Children's privacy & account deletion

Beepiip is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

You can delete your account and its associated personal data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or from our Account Deletion page. Some data may be retained afterwards where we have a legal obligation to keep it, such as accounting and tax records.
